The Kaplin Stewart Construction Law Department is excited to announce its newest program offering. Starting in January, our attorneys will present our Spring Seminar Series to help our clients and friends prepare for the upcoming busy season. Designed to provide invaluable information to help construction firms plan their new projects, the programs will be approximately an hour long and held at Kaplin Stewart’s main offices in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The program list is as follows:

Andy Cohn is a partner in our Construction Law Department. As an experienced litigator he has tried and won many a construction case. He also reviews contracts and serves as both a mediator and an arbitrator. Here, however, is the rest of the story.

On Thursday, August 28, 2014, two attorneys from Kaplin Stewart’s construction law department will deliver a presentation on contract administration and handling construction disputes to New Jersey architects. 

We are pleased to announce that Kaplin Stewart will soon be providing educational videos on various topics to share information on various topics of importance to our clients, potential clients, and the construction industry at large. While they will admittedly not be on the silver screen, we hope they provide useful information that can be used to better your business.

Administrative Assistants’ Day provides an opportunity for people to take a moment to say thank you and express appreciation for all that is done by administrative assistants. At Kaplin Stewart, we mark that day annually by hosting a lunch at which we stop to recognize all the members of our administrative team for their contributions to our success. These events are important and appropriate. But more is necessary. It needs to be said publicly for the world to hear.

A team of Kaplin Stewart attorneys recently won a significant verdict on behalf of one of its site contractor clients. Mohammad A. Ghiasuddin served as lead counsel at trial and was assisted by Mike Hogan.
